Meets this weekend
10-U and 11-12 meets this weekend.
There will also be a 12-14yr old meet on 2/21 - info coming out tomorrow
Yeah, we finally have some meets available for some of the newer swimmers. We hope that those of you who signed up are all looking forward to this weekend.
This weekend there are 2 meets in Coronado at Coronado HS. Please bring signed waiver documents (see below).
For those of you who have never been to a meet, the information contained here is definitely information overload. Please read through it and try not to let it stress you or your swimmer out. Bottom line is sign your waivers, get your swimmer to the pool on time, and the coaches will handle the rest......which sounds a LOT simpler than all of the information we have to provide to you these days.
Warmup times: These are times we want you to be at the pool. We will do a little stretching, have announcements and go over all of the procedures, and then warm up prior to the meet start.
Saturday: 10&U, Please arrive at 11:05 - look for CAST coaches. (Our in-the-water warmup time starts at 11:25 if you read the notes, but we want you there before that (11:05) to prep and go over everything). The actual competition should run from 11:55 to about 12:40. (do not pay attention to the timeline on the meet program, as we will be taking some breaks in between events).
Sunday: 11-12 year olds, Please arrive at 7:15. look for CAST coaches. (Our in-the-water warmup time starts at 7:30 if you read the notes, but we want you there before that to prep and go over everything). The actual competition should run from 8:00 to about 8:45. (do not pay attention to the timeline on the meet program, as we will be taking some breaks in between events).
