Couple of quick notes.... Paradowskis portal and stormy weather

Paradowski's / SwimWest portal is open and available.  Click here select CAST - the code isswimcast. You can now order team gear through the portal on the site...The silicone caps with names will be available for two weeks only. That is because they have to do a bulk order. So if you want your swimmer to have caps with names the time is now....this two week window will be made available approximately once every 4 months. Some items on this site will ship right away, while other specialty items may take a while. As I mentioned in the parent meeting, since Speedo is currently moving and in a blackout period, if the store doesn't have a speedo item in stock it may take 4-6 weeks before delivery. Paradowskis' / SwimWest tried to stock up, prior to Speedo moving, but some items are limited.

Rain / stormy weather

Now is as good a time as any since a fast moving storm is about to hit. (I just got a flash flood warning on my phone). It looks like a fast moving storm is going to dump a bunch of rain in the next hour and a half to two hours, with thunder an lightning likely for the first hour ('till about 3:15). and just periods of very heavy rain tapering off by 4:30 or 4:45.  Since we don't start our first groups until 4:00, it looks like we will have practice today (at this point).....Forecasts aren't always right. It looks like it's going to be nasty for a while, but clear up pretty quickly once it moves through. As long as the lightning is gone by 3:30 and it's just rain for a while after that - we will have practice....it the lightning hangs around longer than predicted, we may be cancelling tonights practice altogether.
