Dave's notes 10-11
Team Banquet 10-27:
Originally I had posted that the banquet later this month would be a pot-luck. Then DawnElla reminded me that lots of different people cooking and lots of different people handling all of the food and serving utensils etc. was less than ideal with Covid still around.
So with pot-luck out, I am looking to other ideas. We want to recognize swimmers and their achievements, and that is our priority. Having food is secondary. Whether it's individually boxed dinners, individual pizzas, individually packaged desserts or bring your own food . . . I'm open to ideas. Please send me your thoughts to (dave@castswim.com). Thanks!
IMR meet this weekend
27 CAST swimmer are entered to compete this weekend. We have been assigned the afternoon sessions each day. Last meet we were lucky and given the warmup that was closest to the actural meet start time. This time we weren't so lucky. Saturday please be on site by 11:50. Our warmup is 12-12:35 with the meet beginning at 2:00. (the "waiting around" time is fun social time for kids). Sunday is a little earlier....be on site at 11:20. Our scheduled warmup is 11:30-12:05. Estimated meet time Sat: 2:00 - 5:00, Sunday 1:30-4:00.

IMX Meet Sign-ups close Tuesday - midnight. This meet is for Dave's SR swimmers and some of DawnEllas Sr-development swimmers.
