PSL Shootout meet this evening
For Dave's level ABC + selected swimmers from DawnEllas group. Due to this meet, there is no practice for level ABC tonight. Please be at Poway Community Ctr. at 5:15 pm. Tonights lineup

IMX meet this weekend
For those entered, please be on deck at 8:00 am each day. The meet runs until about 1:00 each day, with the IM's starting around 11:40 on Sat, and 500's starting around 11:00 on Sunday. Please be ready to provide your own timers on Saturday if you're in the 400IM, and your own timers and counters if you're in the 500 on Sunday.
Due to deck space limitations, parents are not allowed on deck except for those working. So sign up for your timing spots here
Also- quick note.....usa swimming is having a company film for some safety training video during warmup, if you are okay with your swimmer being filmed, please sign the release form and have them bring it to the meet.

Awards Banquet / swimmer recognition night - Wednesday Oct. 27th. Kroc multipurpose room -
All swimmers and families are invited to attend this event. 5:00 - 7:30 P.M. The multipurpose room is at the WEST end of the Kroc center between the theater and the library. Due to the many meets, we had to do this one on a weeknight. So obviously we will not have any practices next Wednesday. All swimmers will be recognized, even ones who have only been on the team a short time. Please come if you can to have your child recognized as well as hear about the accomplishments of our swimmers over the past year.

As announced earlier this month, the Kroc center no longer has a food service division, and we didn't want to do potluck due to covid concerns, so we're going with Subway boxed meals. YOU MUST PRE-ORDER BY SUNDAY PM IF YOU WANT A MEAL. If you don't order, there will not be food for you, but you may still attend. The meal boxes are $11 each and include a 12" sub / chips / cookie and bottled water. meals must be ordered in advance and we had to keep the choices fairly limited (because we don't have the ability to accomodate 120 different orders. Due to a glitch that I could not figure out, some combinations of orders don't put the right total in the final box, so please make sure you update the qty in the checkout page so that the amount matches the number of meals you're ordering (1=$11; 2=$22, 3=$33, etc).
The Kroc policy on masking is that indoors- if you are not fully vaccinated - you need to wear a mask.
Seating indoors will be limited to 120 with overflow in the courtyard. Dress warm.

Halloween - Novice Fun Event- Saturday Oct 30th - Granite Hills HS pool.
These fun events are designed as a super fun intro to meets. They are primarily intended for swimmers who are on their way to being ready to compete. If your swimmer has been in multiple regular meets and is swimming all of the strokes legally, this isn't really for you.
If your swimmer hasn't been in a meet or maybe only swimming freestyle in meets, then this is a great way to swim other strokes and not worry if they are completely legal yet.
This is for most of the swimmers in groups H and I and some in group G. Ask your coach if this is something you should attend.
