March Calendar - by the way, calendars can be found under the "schedule" tab on the website.

Big change on Friday's for AG for at least the next couple of months.

On Friday's during the HS swimming season - Which runs through April - we will have the Age Group group practicing from 4:15 - 6:00pm. We are doing this in order to allow those swimmers some interaction and training alongside with the Senior Development group. Besides giving the swimmers more water time, we hope it will open a bridge for the AG swimmers to the next level within the team, providing awareness and inspiration to prepare them to eventually move up to the SR-D group.

March meets:

March 18-19:  Short Course Age Group Championships. (Also known as JO's). Held at Granite HIlls HS Eligibility list. Relays (which will include some swimmers that are not eligible for individual events will be announce by this weekend).

March 25th: Age group champ max. (AKA JO Max) - one day meet at UCSD. This is for ALL individuals who have 5 or fewer JO times.

March 30- Apr 2: Far Westerns. We currently have 5 individuals qualified for this high level age group meet in the Bay Area.

The rest of the long course Calendar - This is a list of the San Diego meets on the calendar for the "Long Course Season" - which runs through August. There may be some out-of-town meets added to this calendar as we move forward, but this should help you with initial planning. Generally the BC meets are for Novice and AG the A/BB are for SR D and Senior swimmers. Time stds can be found here

April 15-16: CAST hosted BC meet - Granite Hills HS - For all B and C swimmers.

April 21-23: All ages A/BB - Poway

May 20-21: All ages BC - which may be turned into a "no time std" meet since no teams bid on hosting the A/BB that was scheduled for the following weekend. Assuming that happens, it will be for all levels of swimmers on the team.

June 3-4: Splash N Dash Max meet. This is for all swimmers who do not have qualifying times for the splash and dash meet 2 weeks later. Those time stds should be available soon Until the time stds are available....if you are a B or C swimmer this one is for you, and it may include BB swimmers in some events as well.

June 16-18: Splash And Dash meet. A swimmers are definitely qualified, with many events also in the BB range. we'll post eligibility as soon as more info is available.

June 24-25: CAST hosted BC meet GHHS - all AG and N swimmers should plan on attending (as well as those in other groups with B times)

July 7-9: A/BB meet - last chance to qualify for the SI Long course championships (JO's)

July 20-23: SI Long course Championships (JO's) - for swimmers with qualifying times as well as some selected relay-only swimmers.

July 29-30: JO max - for those with less than 6 JO times

Aug 12 or 13: not sure which date yet - CAST hosted 1 day - final summer meet

As mentioned earlier, this only includes San Diego based meets - some of the higher level swimmers may have additional out of town meets. For example Western Zones Age Group Championships is Aug 2-5 in Boise Idaho (it is for those selected to the Zone San Diego All-star team with time stds higher than A).

All of the above meets will be posted on our website by this weekend.
