Meet this weekend:
We have 35 swimmers competing in the meet this weekend. The meet is at Southwestern College. Please pay for parking online in advance so you don't get ticketed or towed.
Swimmers should be on deck, ready for stretching at 7:15 am. Our team's designated warmup water time is at 7:30.. Do not show up when you feel like it. We are a team, and we warm up as a team during a designated time. If you swimmers first event is after 10:30 am, please talk with your coach if you would like to arrange a later time to show up. The coach will then make sure your swimmer is checked in for the day's events.
We want all CAST swimmers to be in one area (families are welcome in that area too). If the parents wish to sit in an area different than the team area, that is fine, but we want your swimmers in the team area.
Please wear your CAST gear and caps.
job sign ups are posted on the CAST website - For those of you who struggle to get their volunteer hours, please note that bringing canopies either to the meet or back to Kroc counts for 2 volunteer hours and it only takes 10-15 miinutes and some labor.
Cap orders due by Monday 22nd.
Team Cap order. We have opened an opportunity for families to order their own silicone CAST caps. The cost for 2 caps with your name on it is $37. Ordering caps with your name will not occur again until the fall. Silicone caps usually last at least a year. Please visit the Swim West website: https://www.swimwestusa.com/ to order. click on "team stores" and then College Area Swim Team. the login is simply... swimcast. Since there are minimum orders, we need to do this only a couple of times a year. Ordering for caps with names will close on May 22nd.
