New Swimmers/Families

First, I would like to give a warm welcome to the new swimmers and their families who are joining us this summer (and maybe beyond).  Please check the NEWS tab periodically to make sure you're up to date on all of the current news. If your swimmer is assigned to the Novice or Age group practices, you will have a couple of "practice competitions" this summer, and may also enter some  of the "normal" USA swimming competitions, if / when your coach thinks you're ready. I should have a complete summer schedule for you by the end of this weekend.

I'm sure you will have a lot of questions, and more will develop as we move forward. To help answer your questions and make sure you feel welcome, I will be hosting an informational zoom meeting on Sunday 6-11 at 6:30 pm set your phone alarm or scheduler if you want to join in.

Practice Calendar changes and updates. (please click on the "schedule" tab on our website to view and print - I purposely didn't include a link because some people have never gone to the schedule tab on our site, and I would like families to know where it is).

The practice calendar has been updated. Here are the significant changes:

1) Saturday June 10 and July 1st updated for SR and SD (HLX 7:15-9:00 am)

2) Friday Afternoons - back to early for AG.  We were able to bring back a longer / earlier practice for AG on Friday's.

3) Juneteenth - The Kroc center closes early that day and all afternoon practices have been bumped up one hour for that day only.

4) AG - beginning on June 20th, practices on Tuesday and Thursday will go until 7:15 PM.

CAST swim meet.

We are hosting a BC meet on June 24-25. The meet will be at Granite Hills HS. This includes some swimmers from all groups. If you are brand new to the team, please check with your coach to see if this is a meet for you. In general if you are new and in Novice, we'll likely have you wait until the next meet; If you're new and in AG SD or SR, then we encourage you to sign up. Click here for help on the procedure to commit to a meet. The entry deadline is midnight - June 13th.

Here is a list of eligible swimmers and events (events in gray and red mean the swimmer is too fast for that race).
