Registering with USA swimming

Update from yesterday's email - the old links were changed by USA swimming....please use the "CAST specific" links from this email as the ones I sent yesterday no longer function.

USA swimming registration:

This message is for families / athletes that either had seasonal registrations (summer only) or are just joining for the first time. Athletes who already have USA swimming registrations can renew their registrations with a 2024 membership after 9-15-23.

If you swam this summer, and had a seasonal registration, you need to renew your membership immediately. Here is a notice I received yesterday from the registration chairperson:

There is a registration bug for athletes who were registered as Seasonal Athletes.  If the member clicks on renew, the system does not allow them to move forward.  

Start with one of the two links below (depending on whther you are an outreach member or not)

Have the parent use the Add a New Member option. When they enter the athlete info they will get a pop-up asking if it’s an existing athlete. They should choose the athlete from the grid (if there is more than one of the same person just choose the top one).

In other words - you go to usa swimming. log in with your family account, and then perform the action in the second blue paragraph.

If you are new to the team and have not previously registered with USA swimming, you have a short grace period (30 days) to register, but we prefer you do it within the first 2 weeks. Here's what to do:

1) Create a family log-in account: Directions Here

2) Decide which membership you need Full, Flex, or Outreach: Information here

3) Then use this CAST-Specific link below to register your swimmer (swimmers on other teams - if you're reading this - do not use this link - it is specific to CAST registrations).
