CAST meets and notes
----a few notes and meet info----
The rescheduled just-for-fun meet will be this Thursday afternoon at the Kroc center. A little untimelimely lightning last week caused us to postpone. This is for all AG, all novice, and all summer swimmers. Thursday night during practice time (except you'll need to be there 15 minutes earlier than normal). We will go from 5:45 - 7:00 pm - so it's a very slight adjustment from your normal practice time.
We will have ribbons, we do need parents to chip in and help time the kids and write times on the ribbons. No entry fees, no pre-entry, just show up and race your teammates, have fun, and walk away with some ribbons and a smile.
Those of you who joined us for the summer - We invite you to keep swimming year round. We do take a 2 week break beginning Aug 12th and re-starting on Aug. 26th. We would love to have you continue swimmming. At this point, there are no anticipated schedule changes for the fall. Two week break Our annual end-of-summer break begins Aug 12th (no practices on the 12th). Practices will resume on the 26th. I have not had a chance to do a calendar, so this weeks practices are basically the same as last week - maybe no dryland for SR and SD - we'll know this afternoon. That along with the just for fun meet arrival time of 5:45 (and no Saturday am due to our wrap up meet).are the only differences from normal. I should have a full schedule out for late Aug through Sept later this week.
CAST wrap up meet Our final meet of the summer is upon us. We are hosting the wrap up meet this weekend at Granite Hills HS. I don't have psyche sheets yet, but I do have some information. Looks like a great size for a fun meet. Psyche sheets and jobs will come out some time tomorrow. Swimmers should be on deck at 7:10 each morning.
