Fall - Winter meet schedule '24-'25

This is the San Diego meet Calendar for Fall and Winter '24-'25 short course season.

We may be attending additional out-of-town meets for different levels- those additional meets will be added by early September - but this should give team members a general idea with the San Diego based meets.

We will also be continuing with our just-for-fun meets that will either be intersquad or dual meets that are designed to be short and fun. Times from these meets are unofficial. The just-for-fun meets will always be for the Novice level swimmers - but some will also include AG SD and SR  groups.

Parents, especially parents of swimmers in their first year or two of swimming, always want to know, "which meets are for us"? ---hopefully this will help:

In general if you are in the novice or AG program, you likely have mostly B or C times. This means BC meets or NTS (no time std) meets are for you. Many meets do not have simple designations like A, B ,C  or NTS so I'll go through the season with some notes to help.

-Also be aware that as we get 3 to 4 weeks away from a meet, we will try to put out information that helps you decide whether or not this meet is for you.

The Freestyle Festival on Sept 21  OR  22 will be our first meet of the fall. This meet is for all levels. There are no time standards for the shorter events, so we expect all swimmers on the team to attend.  We have not been assigned to a day yet, but it will be only be one day - whichever we are assigned. - we will know which day by early September.

The WAG max and WAG meets in December are complimentary meets.....the WAG meet is a heats and finals meet for higher level swimmers, the WAG max meet is for swimmers who are not yet at that level. The WAG time standards should be out in September some time.

The all star meet in January is 14&U's. 8 male and 8 female in each age group.  This is selected from those who apply - application deadline is usually Satruday of the WAG meet.

The Senior Classic has it's own time stds and are generally faster than BB.

Sectionals is a high level regional meet for top older swimmers

14/u AG champs carries it's own time standards which will be decided in September and published by early Oct.
